CCIC & SLCSI Host Inaugural Women in Business Boot Camp in Saint Lucia

Women from Saint Lucia and the rest of the OECS converged at the Coco Palm hotel in Saint Lucia for the first Women in Business Green Innovation Boot Camp. From October 10 -12, 2018 26 women participated in an intense 3-day workshop organized by the Caribbean Climate Innovation Center (CCIC) and facilitated by the Saint Lucia Coalition of Service Industries (SLCSI) and the Organsiation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). The workshop provided participants with the skills needed to develop and launch an environmentally sustainable business.

Animators on the Move

Animation took center stage as the Saint Lucia Coalition of Service Industries (SLCSI) in collaboration with Export Saint Lucia, Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) hosted a 5-day animation boot camp in Saint Lucia. The much anticipated event, organized to enhance the competencies of the region’s animators and place them on par with their global counterparts, was held at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) from August 13-17, 2018.
